Quick Facts

  • WIFS membership takes effect the day you join and is active for the next 365 days.
  • National Dues are $310 per year. All members are required to pay National dues.
  • Members have the option to join local Chapters. Local Chapters assess their own dues, which must be paid in addition to National dues.
  • Membership is nonrefundable and nontransferable.

WIFS is an association of financial services professionals working together to attract, develop and advance women. We champion career opportunities, provide professional development and represent women’s interests in changing the industry to be more welcoming, inclusive and mindful of the breadth of talent and skills women bring to the field. For 85 years, we have provided a forum for hundreds of financial advisors, agents, representatives, producers, leaders, executives, CPAs and attorneys to build and grow peer-to-peer relationships, intellectual capital and professional skills. Membership Benefits:

Belonging to WIFS on the National level offers a broader network and access to comprehensive resources, enhancing professional growth by connecting members with a wider community. National dues are crucial as they fund key programs like national events and programming, mentorship, and website features such as the membership directory and job board. This structured support system empowers local chapters with guidance and resources, ensuring consistency in mission and values while allowing local chapters to address specific community needs. Administrative and operational support from the national level helps local chapters maintain a consistent approach aligned with WIFS' overarching goals, preserving the integrity and continuity of the organization’s mission across all levels.

Membership Types

Individual Membership Types

Annual Dues - $310.00
WIFS National annual membership paid with a single payment. Chapter dues will still apply.

Annual Dues, Monthly Payment Plan - $30.00
WIFS annual membership paid on an automated, monthly renewal basis. National and Chapter membership dues are paid in monthly installments. By joining at the monthly rate, you are committing to 12 months of membership dues. Please note that if you cancel your membership before your 12th month, you will be responsible to pay the remainder of the dues. 

Retirees - $155.00
Provides 50% off National membership dues and is available to those who worked in the insurance and financial services industry and are now fully retired. Discount does not apply to Chapter dues. 

New Industry Professional/Career Changers - $155.00
Provides 50% off National membership dues and is available for a one-year period to women not currently employed, and who are considering pursuing a career in insurance or financial services. Discount does not apply to Chapter dues. This membership is available for a maximum of two years.

Student Membership - $30.00 
Allows students to join WIFS National at a discounted rate for up to two years. Includes complimentary membership in our Virtual Chapter. Students are welcome to join their local Chapters, discount does not apply to local Chapter dues.

Group Membership Types

Organizational Membership Rates: This membership option is available to companies that are seeking to connect multiple team members with WIFS. This provides significant savings on National memberships (regularly $310 annually per individual).
- Small: 20-49 seats, $250 per membership
- Medium: 50-99 seats, $150 per membership
- Large: 100-199 seats, $100 per membership
- Organizational: 200+ seats, $75 per membership
