WIFS membership runs on an annual basis from January 1st through December 31st. New WIFS members pay a prorated amount based upon their join date, affiliation status with one of our Partners for Excellence, and preference for joining a local Chapter. Click here to view the dues proration chart. All WIFS members are scheduled for membership renewal each January 1st for both National and Chapter dues.
How to Become a WIFS Member

National Dues - $230 per year. All members are required to pay National dues.
- Partners for Excellence Affiliate Membership Dues - Individuals engaged in an exclusive employment relationship with any of the WIFS Partners for Excellence, noted at the bottom of this page, pay reduced National membership dues of $130/year.
Chapter Dues - Members have the option to join local area Chapters. Local Chapters assess their own dues rate which must be paid in addition to National dues.

Special Membership Types
Student Membership: Allows students to join National at no charge for up to two years (students must still pay local Chapter dues if they choose to join a local Chapter). In-Transition Membership: Provides 50% off National membership dues and is available for a one year period to women not currently employed, and who are considering pursuing a career in insurance or financial services. Retired Membership: Provides 50% off National membership dues and is available to those who worked in the insurance and financial services industry and are now fully retired. Discount does not apply to Chapter dues. Proof of retirement may be requested. Download the pdf
